Information for new students and answers to common questions
I have never done yoga and feel nervous! : New students are always welcome at our studio! We are excited to share yoga with you. You don't have to be flexible or experienced to take a yoga class. You do not have to be "good" at yoga to realize the benefits. Please know that our studio is a place to explore the practices of yoga without judgement or comparison to others. We accept you as you are.
I am not sure what class to take. : We recommend starting with our most gentle classes and expanding from there. Here our classes are listed from most gentle to most rigorous: Restorative Yoga with Essential Oils, Yin Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Yoga Basics, Slow Flow Yoga and/or Wake Up & Flow, and Vinyasa Yoga. We suggest trying a variety of class styles and instructors to see what you prefer.
How do I sign up? : Pre-registration is needed for all of our classes. We do not offer walk-ins as we have limited spaces available. It's easy to sign up, please visit our Schedule Page where you can sign up for class.
What should I wear or bring with me? : Wear any sort of workout clothes you feel comfortable in. We recommend practicing barefoot. Leave your shoes at the door when you arrive. If you have a yoga mat bring that along. We also have loaner mats. You don't need anything fancy to practice yoga with us!
How often should I come for class? : We recommend coming at least one time per week regularly. Some students come 4 times per week. If you make yoga a priority in your schedule you will feel better!
We also recommend that you give yourself 1-6 months to feel the full effects. Generally people feel great after their very first class and in time you will especially feel the effects of the practice.
I am under 18, can I come to your studio? : Students under 18 must have pre approval from our owner before coming to class. Please email us to arrange this.
I want to pay for a friend to come to class with me! : Great! You will want to register your friend with their unique name and email address to save their spot. If you pay for someone else using your own email address it will not save your friend's spot in class. To register multiple friends just use everyone's unique name and email and their spots will be saved!
How can I contact you? : You can contact us via email, send us a message on Facebook or Instagram.
What if I need to cancel a class I signed up for? : To remove your registration you must email us within 3 hours of the class start time. We do charge a drop-in fee for late cancellations or no-shows. In short, if you register and then do not come or cancel last minute it prevents another student from coming to class. You can read our full cancellation policy in the next section.
What are your studio policies? : Our Studio Policies - We aim to keep it simple and straight forward: 10 Class Passes are valid for 6 months. All Memberships auto renew every 30 days and there is a 3 month commitment. You may upgrade at any time. After 3 months, if you choose to downgrade or cancel
please email us 3 business days prior to your next renewal. Refunds are not available for already renewed memberships or class passes, classes may not be shared between students and passes do not roll over to the next month. Students under 18 must have approval from Michelle before coming to class, please contact us. Pre-registration is needed for all of our classes. Cancellation Policy: We require 3 hours notice prior to the class start time via email to remove your registration. A drop-in fee for those with Memberships or single class pass is charged to your account for class no shows or late cancellations.
Our classes begin promptly at the times listed.
The studio is open at least 15 minutes prior to each class.
